Histopathology is the definitive microscopic examination of tissue specimens to study the manifestations of disease, particularly benign and malignant tumors, inflammatory disorders, and infectious conditions. Tapadia Diagnostic operates an advanced surgical pathology laboratory dedicated to accurate tissue processing and oncological reporting.
Tissue Grossing & Fixation: Careful anatomical orientation, gross measurement, and standardized formalin fixation to preserve cellular morphology.
Automated Tissue Processing: Dehydration, clearing, and paraffin wax embedding using automated tissue processors.
Microtomy & Staining: Precision sectioning (3-5 microns) and standardized Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) staining, complemented by special histochemical stains (PAS, AFB, Perl's Prussian Blue, Masson's Trichrome).
Biopsy Spectrum: Endoscopic mucosal biopsies, punch skin biopsies, core needle biopsies, and large surgical resection specimens.
All tissue sections are evaluated by senior pathologists with specialization in oncopathology, ensuring accurate differentiation between benign lesions and invasive neoplasms.
