Multi-Slice Computed Tomography (CT) combines specialized X-ray equipment with sophisticated computer processing to generate detailed, cross-sectional volumetric slices of the human body. Tapadia Diagnostic’s advanced multi-slice CT scanners offer rapid acquisition times and sub-millimeter anatomical detail.
Neurological & Head CT: Acute stroke evaluation (ischemic vs hemorrhagic), traumatic brain injury, intracranial hemorrhage, and skull fractures.
Chest & Pulmonary CT (HRCT Chest): High-resolution evaluation of lung parenchyma, interstitial lung disease (ILD), pulmonary fibrosis, and lung nodules.
Abdomen & Pelvis CT: Contrast-enhanced evaluation of appendicitis, diverticulitis, liver lesions, renal masses, and abdominal trauma.
Musculoskeletal 3D Reconstruction: Complex joint fractures, spine trauma, and pre-surgical orthopedic planning.
For Contrast-Enhanced CT (CECT) scans, 4 to 6 hours of fasting and a recent Serum Creatinine report (to evaluate kidney function) are required. Our radiographers ensure comprehensive patient safety and hydration monitoring throughout the procedure.
All CT examinations utilize automated tube current modulation and iterative reconstruction algorithms to minimize patient radiation exposure while maintaining high diagnostic clarity.
